- Khutse Game Reserve
A Sanctuary in the Heart of the Kalahari
Experience the Untouched Beauty of Khutse Game Reserve
It lies on the southern edge of Botswana’s vast Kalahari ecosystem. It covers almost 2,500 square kilometres of remote wilderness. It mostly borders the Central Kalahari Game Reserve to the north. Fossil river valleys, ancient grassed-over pans, wind-sculpted dunes, and an astonishing array of desert-adapted animals characterise Khutse.
More remote and less known than many of Botswana’s more watered delta-based reserves, Khutse presents an unforgettable Kalahari safari of wide, dramatic skies and peaceful, unhurried wilderness. The rainy season makes the grass grow, and huge concentrations of herbivores arrive, accompanied by hungry predators.

The final commitment is to minimise the impact of ecotourism. It simply ensures that Khutse's wildlife habitats, fragile landscapes, and natural migration routes remain well protected while providing all visitors with a responsible and authentic safari experience.

Empowering Local Communities
