Curated Wilderness Experiences
Where Every Game Drive Becomes a Discovery
Spanning 2,578 sq km on the northern periphery of the Makgadikgadi Basin, Nxai Pan National Park is a remnant of a long-lost fossil pan, of greener grass and acacia islands, that support magnificent herds of zebra, wildebeest, springbok and other grazing species after rains fall in December.
In the wet season, the giraffes race to the acacia trees and predators – lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, brown hyenas – track the herds. During the dry season, visitors can see a greater variety of game, such as impala, gemsbok, hartebeest, giraffe, and, on some days, an elephant or buffalo.
